Certified Organic Vegetables

Our small scale vegetable production at The Heron Farm and Events Center stated out as a garden for personal use. We built raised beds that wrapped around our houseand as the beds increased, so did the harvests. Now, we raise enough to offer vegetables at our Farm Store and at local farmers markets.

Steve Rockcastle & William Petransky co-manage the garden and grow a little bit of everything throughout the season. 

Harvest days are Fridays, because markets are on Saturday, so that’s a good day to drop in and see what’s fresh!

We’ve been certified organic by NOFA-NY, LLC since 2007, and we’re proud of it!
