Like I stated earlier, the cows are going through their last time around the farm and they are into some really nice taller grass right now. I’m walking along moving electric and notice how just the smallest of tips of the blades of grass have been snipped off of this otherwise 10” tall clump of grass.
For those that might not know, the energy of the grass is in the top portion of the grass. They are going through and getting the tiny bits of energy each blade has to offer. They systematically graze usually in some sort of linear row and go through the pasture that way.
Along with that, is the beautiful sound of a cow munching and breathing as they mow the pasture. The simple pleasures.
