Take a deep breath… you’re on Heron Time.
Once a month, we open the land for a family-friendly weekend dedicated to nature, wellness, and community — open and accessible to all, with no cost to participate.
These gatherings invite you to slow down, connect, and explore what it means to feel well in nature.
Each month brings something new — yoga, forest bathing, sound baths, stargazing, and more.
Come for a single workshop or stay the whole weekend with primitive camping, RV sites, or cozy Airbnb options right here on the farm.
When: Monthly, May–October
The Great Rhythm Revival
A transformative weekend of movement, music, and renewal.
The Great Rhythm Revival brings together drumming, dance, yoga, sound healing, and expressive art — led by talented facilitators who guide participants in reconnecting with body, spirit, and community.
Nights glow with fire circles, live music, and laughter under the stars, and meals are lovingly prepared with food grown right here on the farm.
When: First weekend of August
The Heron Trail Run 5K
Every summer, we honor our dear friend Dave McDonald with the Heron Trail Run 5K — a family-friendly event that brings together runners, walkers, and music lovers of all ages.
Dave loved to run. He loved The Heron. And he loved music — so this day celebrates everything he held dear.
The well-marked course winds through our scenic trails, offering a fun challenge for all skill levels. Registration is free, with donations supporting local organizations such as the Mental Health Association, Infinity Visual & Performing Arts, and the Chautauqua County Humane Society.

Heron Traditions
May Day Celebration
Each spring, our Heron Tribe gathers to welcome the new season with our long-loved May Day Celebration — a joyful day filled with music, dancing, food, and community.
We decorate the Maypole, share a potluck meal, and end the night with a bonfire and drumming circle. It’s also the perfect time for anyone interested in volunteering for the Great Blue Heron Music Festival to get involved and meet the team.

The Great Blue Heron Music Festival
Since 1992, the Great Blue Heron Music Festival has been the heartbeat of this land — a place where thousands of smiling faces gather to celebrate music, nature, and community.
For three unforgettable days, kindness fills the air, friendships spark easily, and dancing happens everywhere. The music brings energy, the land brings peace, and together they create something magical.

The Heron Farm
The Heron is also a working organic farm raising grass-fed heritage beef, organic chicken, shiitake mushrooms, and seasonal vegetables using regenerative and sustainable practices.
Our Farm Store is open daily, year-round (8am–8pm), stocked with farm-fresh food, prepared soups, and local goods.
