With support from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County, Julie and Steve will be offering a tour of our small batch pasture-raised broiler enterprise, including production and a live demonstration of processing for those who want to learn how to humanely and safely process chickens on a small scale.
All who are interested in raising or are currently raising poultry for meat are welcome to register for this free event. Pre-registrations are required, as there is an attendee limit to ensure everyone can have a clear view of the demonstrations.
The program will be from 2pm – 4pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Green Heron Growers at 2361 Wait Corners Road, Panama, NY.
