With a never-ending tour schedule and a steady buzz\, they have built a very solid underground fan base. “The game has been live shows and nose to the ground since the beginning\,” says guitarist/songwriter Dan Forsyth. \nAs well as a devout following and a sizable discography\, the band’s hard work has also been a huge part of the inspiration for their music. The songs and arrangements have grown out of time spent on the road\, growing closer\, learning with and from each other and weathering the up’s and down’s of the journey together.  “We have a truly special bond creatively and personally. It’s the driving force behind the music\,” violinist/songwriter Claire Byrne adds. \nIt is with this bond\, patience\, determination and undying mutual love and respect for music\, the road\, and their friendship\, they have approached their latest offering\, ‘Tree of Shade.’ \n \nThe Arcadian Wild\nLed by songwriters Isaac Horn (guitar) and Lincoln Mick (mandolin)\, and with the support of other gifted musicians\, The Arcadian Wild confidently inhabits and explores an intersection of genre\, blending the traditional with the contemporary in order to create a unique acoustic sound that is simultaneously unified and diverse. It’s both gut-wrenching and exhilarating. Named Top Ten Bands to watch by CityPaper\, and winner of the 2015 and 2016 Roc Awards\, “Best Band”\, Danielle Ponder  transcends musical genres with a blast of deep\, powerful soul. \nThis Rochester\, NY Native has spent the past years rendering goose bumps by perfecting her style and charismatic performance. Boyd Kletter of Bourbon Street Blues Club in Amsterdam said “Danielle shines bright both on and off the stage. She’s truly is a star!” \nBeyond Danielle’s musical talent\, she is a former Public Defender and Tedx speaker. \nDanielle worked for 5 years at the Monroe County Public Defender’s office where she provided criminal defense to indigent defendants.  In 2018 Danielle took a leap of faith and left her job as an attorney to pursue music full time. \nDanielle has dedicated the past 15 years to organizing and speaking up for marginalized communities. She has worked on issues such as education funding\, women’s rights\, and has spent the past 8 years working for criminal justice reform. Danielle was recently highlighted by the American Bar Association. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an awesome event with music from some of our favorite Great Blue Heron Music Festival performers.\nThe Probables\nThe Probables are a rhythm-driven\, folkcana/roots rock band from Jamestown\, New York. The band formed in March of 2016 and hit the ground running by releasing their EP in July of the same year. The Probables follow-up release\, “Cumberland Line\,” brought to fruition in June of 2018\, expanded their music scope. With influences of Americana\, Folk\, Contemporary\, Bluegrass and Rock\, The Probables result was a fusion of a unique blend. \nThe group’s distinctive name was decided upon during a booking exchange with the organizer of the annual Great Blue Heron Music Festival in Sherman\, NY. The band had not yet chosen a name when they expressed interest in making a debut at the annual festival. The organizer of the festival responded\, “I’ll probably book you\, so I guess we should just call you ‘The Probables’.” The rest is history… \n \nSim Redmond Band\nSince their inception over 10 years ago\, the Sim Redmond Band has been steadily on the rise\, forging new ground in roots music. Traveling around the globe\, playing with the likes of moe.\, the Neville Brothers\, the Wailers\, Jimmy Cliff\, and Habib Koite\, in some of the most beautiful venues in the U.S. and Japan\, the world has taken notice. With 6 tours of Japan under their belt\, SRB’s unique blend of roots-rock\, Afro-Carribean\, and reggae music continues to spread like wild fire.They are based in Ithaca\, NY but their magnetic pole is Africa\, particularly the sounds eminating from West & South Africa. This magnetic pole has served as a pivot for the Sim Redmond Band to spring into straight rock grooves and pumping reggae. Along the way\, Montbleau would share bills with stars like Tedeschi Trucks Band\, Ani DiFranco\, The Wood Brothers\, Rodrigo y Gabriela\, and Mavis Staples\, but it was his ecstatic headline shows—often more than 200 of them a year—that solidified his reputation as a roots rock powerhouse and an inexorable road warrior. Jones — has woven his own tapestry of American roots music. It’s a classic sound for the modern world\, influenced not only by blues\, soul\, and forward-thinking folk\, but also by J.R.’s environment. \nFrom the bustle of New York City\, where he launched The Bones of J.R. Jones with 2012’s The Wildness\, to the rustic solitude of his current home in the Catskills\, J.R. has always looked to the world around him for inspiration. Few places have left him feeling as inspired as the American Southwest\, an area whose desert panoramas and infinite horizons inspired the songs on his newest release\, A Celebration.
