Stock your freezer with 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised beef from The Heron.
A $600 deposit reserves your Half Cow and locks in our bulk pricing. Once your beef is processed, your final cost is calculated at $6.55 per pound of hanging weight. Most half cows fall between 250–350 lbs hanging weight, making the typical total $1,640–$2,290, with customers taking home 160–225 lbs of packaged meat.
All butcher fees are covered by us. After your cow goes to slaughter, you’ll review your cutting instructions directly with our trusted butcher, Stevens Brothers, to customize your order — steaks, roasts, ground beef, and more. When your beef is ready, you’ll pick it up at:
