DESCRIPTION:Spend the day at The Heron with your horse! \nEquine Trail Sports (ETS) is a national organization that has combined competitive obstacle challenges with trail riding. ETS events are family-friendly and set up so riders of every skill level can ride together in groups. These challenges are focused and scored on the partnership you have with your horse\, not judged on your outfit or tack. \nETS has a unique model where each obstacle has its own judge and each obstacle has 3 skill levels to choose from. \nFor more information on how to sign up\, click here! \n\n\nOvernight camping is available per request\, we offer primitive camping as well as car and RV camping. We also have multiple unique Airbnb options for you to choose from!

You can reserve your campsite on Hipcamp or stay in one of our unique Airbnbs. \nWe have many unique Airbnb’s to choose from. \n\n2024 Nature & Wellness Weekend Schedule\nAugust 31-September 1 \n\nHorse drawn wagon ride around The Heron\, including mindful moments with Jodi Gray. Children and adults of all ages can join in on the fun!\nForest Bathing Experience & Feather bundle workshop with Diane Clark.\nOpen Flow Night with Jessica Frombach! We will start with a grounding meditation to connect to our body and breath\, add in some intuitive movement and music\, then free flow together\, Bring your own props or share with others and try new flow toys! Hula hoops\, poi\, dragon staff\, rope dart\, puppy hammer\, fans\, buugeng etc. Also welcome to dance with just your body.. swaying along to the rhythm\, learn or teach new tricks\, feel out a different flow\, or simply enjoy connecting out in nature\nEnjoy the dark sky views at the Heron\, check out the Milky Way and the constellations while star gazing with Domenic Rocco. Bring your camera/smart device – We’ll cover how to capture night sky photos for those that are interested *Weather permitting*\nHands-on foraging discussion with Harold Reynolds. Learn about local flora from WNY and Chautauqua County.\nMindful tea time and nature sharing circle with Isa Cardenas. The tea will be made with local herbs foraged by Harold Reynolds\n\n  \nSeptember 28-29 \n\nQi Gong with Andy McClain\nNature talking circle to learn and share personal habits for caring for Nature and Pine Cone Bird Feeders with Diane Clark\nSound bath and meditation with Jessica Frombach\, bring a yoga mat!\nEnjoy the dark sky views at the Heron\, check out the Milky Way and the constellations while star gazing with Domenic Rocco.
